  1. Leaf prints

Choose leaves with interesting shapes and prominent veins for the best print results. Coat them with paint (preferably acrylics) on one side, making sure the entire surface is colored evenly (try using a mini paint roller), and press them against paper. Here you go: you’ve made a leaf print! For more colorful results, you can try the same with several colors at once. The same approach can be used to paint T-shirts with fabric paints. Get dressed for the season!

  1. Leaf stamps

Leaf stamping is probably the simplest and cheapest method to turn all kinds of leaves and even flowers into unique artwork. This technique is very similar to the leaf printing; leaf stamping, however, requires no additional paint. Instead, you can simply use the natural color of the plant as a stain. Have a stroll around the garden, choosing the most intense colors and defined shapes. All you’ll need to stamp them is a hammer and a couple of paper towels.

You’ll need a balloon, some glue, and of course leaves, hand picked! (No fake leaves for this one, sorry!) Use larger leaves and be generous with layering them for better support. Stick  them to the inflated balloon, applying a liberal amount of glue. Once the glue is dry, pop the balloon. Put some Halloween candy in your new bowl. Enjoy!
