Chorus Program in Staten Island at DEA Music & Art.
Sounds of Unity is DEA’s chorus program designed for our special group of singers ranging from ages 5 to 16. It consists of weekly group rehearsal where students learn their songs and harmonies. Students are assigned songs and parts that are tailored to them based on their age, vocal range and experience. Students work through their parts in the weekly rehearsal and come together in a whole cast rehearsal six weeks prior to the performance date.
Every few months, students take the stage and sing acapella at a wide range of venues. From singing the national anthem at pregame time at the stadium, to performing christmas carols at Christmas Tree Lighting, to opening the stage for the famous Rockette’s show during the holiday season at Radio City Music Hall.
Taught By Professionals
Piano teachers at DEA music and art are professional, fun and knowledgeable. All of our teachers are masters in their craft! DEA has multiple programs, performances and events year-round to keep kids busy and engaged.
Clean & Safe Environment
DEA has always taken the cleanliness of our studios and learning environments very seriously. We disinfect our instruments after each class and students are asked to wash their hands before each class starts!
Online Hybrid Classes
We’ve recently launched our lessons with students online and have had great success! We’re alternating lessons at home, and lessons in studio week-by-week.
