DEA’s studio art program brings traditional art-school foundations into an age-appropriate setting. Students explore how artists make choices and try different materials and techniques themselves.

What age is Artists for?

Artists is designed for ages 5 and up. Younger children ages 3–4 can explore Jr. Artists.

Are art materials provided?

DEA’s Artists program lists materials as provided. Confirm what is included in the current class and whether anything should be brought from home.

Does this class include more than painting?

Yes. The program includes drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
