Our summer camps are packed with hands-on activities that offer experiences for campers to discover new skills and talents. Whatever your child’s interests are, we have fun and unique activities for them to try!
Music & Performing Arts Camp
Ages 5-12 (Whole Day)
- Monday thru Friday 9am - 3pm
- $430/weekly $110/daily
From budding actors to artists, our exclusive summer camp allows children of all ages the chance to shine! Our innovative program is designed so that every camper can explore their natural talents and curiosities in the performing or creative arts. Our camp transforms kids from regular kids into superstars as they walk out our doors with newfound pride!
Learn a new musical instrument, play in a rock band with peers that love music the same way, then go into the art room for some creative and unique journey in the magic world of the visual arts. This is the camp that covers it all. Let your child’s talent shine and make some lasting memories.
Week 1 and 2
An exciting introduction to piano playing. This course is designed for children who are studying music for the first time. This motivating program develops the student’s basic musicianship skills through ear training, solfege singing, keyboard solo, ensemble performance, composing, and arranging. A strong program to build self-confidence and the right foundation in piano skills. Instrument provided.
Week 3 and 4
Guitar/Ukulele Club
Big or small–if your child is curious about playing guitar or ukulele with others, this is the class for them! Perfect for a variety of levels, this class will cover the basics of playing in a guitar ensemble, exposing children to the fun of ensemble playing. Must own the instrument
Week 5 and 6
Rock Band Jam
This immersive experience gives beginners the opportunity to build real musical skills under the guidance of expert teachers. At first, students will learn the very basics of guitar, drums, bass, keys, and vocals and will have the chance to explore which instruments they enjoy the most. Then, they will take those basic skills and rehearse as a band to prepare to perform in front of their peers and staff. Students will be grouped according to their age. Instruments provided
Week 7 & 8
Visual Arts – Exploring Colors
Students will grow their passion for art as we create drawing and painting art projects. Students have fun learning about and creating personalized artwork inspired by art history fun facts artistic movements, Students will learn endless new artistic techniques while enjoying creative exploration, group art games, step-by-step artistic guidance, and tailor-made instruction according to each participant’s needs and interests.
Week 8 & 9
In the ever-evolving world of art, digital artistry stands at the forefront, shaping the future and redefining creative expression. Engaging with digital art not only bolsters a childs cognitive abilities and fine-tunes their motor skills but also offers innovative methods to organize and interpret visual information.
By diving into digital art, children step into a realm where traditional artistry meets technology, opening up unlimited possibilities to create and share your work.
*Each set of two weeks we will focus on a special musical instrument for a more enhanced experience. Other music and art activities are offered daily regardless of the bi-weekly theme. We offer well rounded performing arts curriculum throughout the summer weeks. iPad and software required for digital art activity.

Campers Get Ready to See Life in Color!

Learning a music instrument during the summer weeks is a great place to begin learning music.
This summer, study piano, guitar or voice with our professionals who will work closely and one-to-one with students to shape the best learning plan for them.
DEA’s educated musicians teach a range of styles like classical, jazz, and blues. Many of our experts are NYS School certified and can teach a range of instruments.

Taught By Professionals
Rock Band teachers at DEA music and art are professional, fun and knowledgeable. All of our teachers are masters in their craft! DEA has multiple programs, performances and events year-round to keep kids busy and engaged.
Clean & Safe Environment
DEA Music and Art has always taken the cleanliness of our studios and learning environments very seriously. Instruments are disinfected regularly after each class and students may be asked to wash their hands before each class starts! Daily sanitizing will be enforced throughout your child’s time at our camp.
Online Hybrid Classes
We’ve recently launched our lessons with students online and have had great success! We’re alternating lessons at home, and lessons in studio week-by-week.
