What classes does DEA offer in Staten Island?

DEA offers instrument and voice lessons, theatre, chorus, dance, rock band, visual and digital art, chess, tutoring, test preparation, homeschool enrichment, and summer camp. Advanced music study and online learning are also available to explore.

How do I choose a class for a young child?

Start with the child’s age and interests. Jammers is designed for ages 3–5, Junior Artists for ages 3–4, Junior Broadway for ages 4–7, and Music Buddies for ages 4 and up. Ask DEA about readiness, current groups, and availability.

Can adults take classes?

Yes. Adults can explore individual music lessons, including piano and violin, and the adult online music program. Contact DEA about current subjects, teachers, and schedules.

Is every program available at every campus?

Availability varies by location, teacher, age group, and enrollment. Tutoring is listed at 1409 Richmond Ave. Confirm the location and schedule for your chosen class before making plans.
